Attended and Presented at the Native American Indigenous Studies Association Conference this past week
It was pretty... inspiring. It was also a bit of a kick in the pants. It reminded me what TIME can do. If you take the time to concentrate on what you are learning, what you are passionate about and what you want to do, TIME can afford you the space to create new things (new scholarship, new outlooks, new approaches). And to see the things that other people have done and are doing... was amazing.
Plus there were a million billion books I wanted - I'm putting them on my Good Reads list... ahem... if someone is feeling generous.
Best quote I heard while at the conference "read everything and publish constantly."
Exactly... now back to my regularly scheduled programming of checking my email (kidding -- back to my reading...)
